i got 5 stitches on my thumb today due to a slight utility knife malfunction.

 

I got ya beat i have 7 stitches in my stomach from a utility knife! It was left open in a paperbag that i picked up three days ago. I am just glad blood and not butter came out when i was cut[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

not really.... but it makes the story that much better!!!

stitches suck... already in the past 10 hours that i have had them ive got them caught on too much stuff... o well...

 

id rather have stitches than staples[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

ya my brother got a crapload of staples one time when he fell out of a tree[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img] his whole arm was hanging by his muscles and the joint. wasnt a pretty sight

 

i had 23 staples when i broke my leg and i had a plate and 11 pins, both bones were broke, the big on in two places, it made a u my leg looked like a stair step, beat that hozed[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] lol

I have only had stiches once...when I was like 2...and i might have broken my pinkie when I was younger and it never got fixed because I can not place my hand flat because the pinikie is too screwed up...I have cut myself with my knife before cutting some rope....probably could have used stiches but never went in for it....was on crutchs for like 5 or 6 weeks when I sprained my ankle (did some nerve damge on that one) and yeah...no broken bones...at least that I went in for

 

when I was 5, (now 36), I was running in a store called Grant's City and they used to display hanging items on a sort of peg board with long horizontal straight hooks at children's eye level and you guessed it, ripped my eye out on one. It didn't fall out but was torn out of place, (funny, but it didn't hurt), and I went to one hospital that couldn't help me 'cause the injury was to compicated so I went to another where they had to call in a specialist to sew me up. no problems now with my vision or disfigurement, the Dr. did a bang up job. now you know why parents are always saying "Don't Run!"[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

and "you'll poke someones eye out with that thing!"
