Traded my dirt bike in today and got 2 Honda Rancher AT ATVs - One Red - Mine, One Yellow - Wifes. Now I got someone to go riding with. I took her to Hatfield and McCoy last week and rented 2 ATVs and got her hooked - even though it rained on us all day.

I toiled over whether going Sport or Utility for myself but after test riding a Sport today and then stepping on the AT I made up my mind in a 5 minute ride. Nothing against Sports but I just felt really good on the AT - different strokes for different folks - as long as they are 4 strokes of course.

Congratulations on the new machines. You've got one of the best tranny's, if not THE best in the business. Expect A LOT of good times out of those quads. Break 'em in right and do all the maintanence and they'll last as long as you can stand the sight of 'em.

Congrats on the new ATVs. My wife and I ride double and go almost every weekend. Went today, all new trails to us, GREAT RIDE.

I rode an AT when they first came out and was quite impressed. Keep up the maint and keep records.

Congrats on the new machines Joker. Any good places to ride down your way, say around C-burg, B-burg, or even Giles Co that you know of? I'm in Bluefield, Va side. We've been riding mostly in Mercer, McDowell, and Wyoming counties in WV.

Oh BTW..... tried the url, but couldn't see any pics.

If you are near Bluefield then the Hatfield McCoy is your best bet - can't beat them!

Yeah, we're gonna hit that this summer too. Most of my riding buds live down towards Bland & Giles counties, so we were looking down there too

Didn't know they rented ATV's at HM. Where did you rent'em, and where did you ride from?? My son's both would love to go, 13 & 14, but I don't have rides for them.

I have heard hatfield/mccoy can be hard on sport bikes that don't run skids.

No problem here. 1998 Fourtrax 350 2x4. Oldie but a goodie.
