Default Can I charge battery in atv? While still hooked up? Quick question

I was wondering if I HAD to undo the POS and NEG wires before I hooked up the charger? Would it hurt anything? The battery isnt stock, and it took about 30 minutes to install last time, because the terminals are about an inch shorter than stock, and its extremely awkward hooking them up. Thanks in advance....

Dave

Same here, I just hook the charger right on the battery terminals.
