What will be a good cam and pipe for a ds?

Default What will be a good cam and pipe for a ds?

What whould be a good bolt on cams for the ds that dont require to change springs or retainers?Also what is a good pipe for all around use drag,riding etc....this is my first DS and im not to fimiliar with the basic set ups for a ds...

You'll be best off doing a search on cams and exhaust. When you do make sure that you put a check by bombardier.

Put a check by what ??All im asking is what is a simple bolt on cams and a good pipe for a ds i know this question comes sorry if you guys have to repeat your selfs but this seems like a good place for some info.

is your quad all stock? cams aren't as simple as pull out one set and throw another set in, there are shims in there that need to be checked for clearance, seems some guys have done some nice things with stock components. mr hp might be one of the best to ask these questions. the pipe is just another debate.
1-woods
2-graydon
3-ct
4-alba
those are the 4 i'd look at LTE is another that doesn't have a lot of proving on it yet but might be promising.
one area i found the best results was gearing on a stock machine.

I totally agree with Sandman.
As far as the cam that you could use without spring changes. That would be the Web 110 grind. I ran that grind for a year with no spring changes and no probs at all. LOTS of miss shifts too. No probs. When i had the head porting and larger valves done, i had the spings changed then. I still run those cams. But will be upgrading from those soon.
