I live in Tulsa and make about 12 trips a year to little sahara. Love it every time.. I also ride a banshee and you will definately tear it up out there. The night riding is a real trip..

Have fun..

It is fun , we drove about 5 hours from Texas about 2 months ago. It was in the 90's in the day and 60's at nite. ie. it was pretty hot riding during the day with a helmet. (optional) I would think it would really be hot in August. you might wait till Sept. ? It's 7 or 8 dollars a day to ride and $15.00 for camp site with electricity I believe ,$40.00 for covered Palivion if you wanted it and can get one. Paddle tire are nice to have but you don't have to have them. You must have a whip antenana with flag 7 feet tall, but you can get it there for $15.00 at the ATV store.
It is fun , we will probably go back this fall.
There is a north camp site and a south camp site, next time we will probably stay at the North site, it's a little quieter at night ( we are gettin older I guess )

We have relatives that live near Wichita so we take the quads out there about twice a year. Just about everyone is right on about riding there just becareful of the razors! One side of the hill may drop straight off! August will be hot during the day but evening and night riding will be excellent. The park is open 24hrs. Our next trip will probably be in Oct., hopefully by then I'll have my Raptor. Have fun!
