Me and my friend were riding the other day and we decided that we would start heading back since it was getting dark, I saw him begin to back up before turned to get myself turned around, when I looked back he was gone!!!! I looked into the 10ft deep ditch to see him standing 6 ft from his upsidedown 86 230 Quadsport. There was no way my 200sx was going to get him out ,we managed to get it right side up and could not figure out how to get it out. So we went looking for someone with a truck. We found him, and it took a chevy Z-71 to get him out. We broke 1 rope borrowed from a nearby house. Amazingly he walked away with nothing but briar scratches.

Ride hard.

He's probably heading to the hardware store right now, snowshark!

After borrowing someone's property, damaging it, not even informing the owner of the situation, and no remorse nor explanation in the account, I think one Good Samaritan just lost a rope.

Who's better off? The Good Samaritan lost only a rope he can replace, the others lost an opportunity they cannot.

Tree Farmer,

I am truly envious of your mastery of the language and unique way of conveying thought.
BRAVO !!!!

Mudslinger, you should know better. You should also be aware of the fact that MOST of the people here are respectful, responsible citizens, and would be offended by your disregard for this persons property. Were you also trespassing ?

IndyDave,

You cannot automatically assume that I am not, like yourself, a perfectly respectable citizen just from hearing about this one bad thing that I had the bad luck to experience. The ditch was located right next to the road and was one block from the home of the owner of the rope. It was a simple accident which could have been avoided, but wasn't. You also forget that the rope was broken in an attempt to assist another person in distress. I am insulted greatly by your jumping to conclusions and hope that the next time that you decide to so rudely try to make a person feel awful, please consider that they too have feelings, and that I am here for the same reason that you probably are. I do not appreciate your insulting comments.
