Default still foggy

OK,I drilled a small hole in my speedo to try and get the moisture out but the dam thing still is foggy.Tried a hair dryer heating both sides, makes it clear for a while then as soon as the sun hits it kazaam same problem--this after both sealing the hole with silicon and leaving it open.Any help would be so greatly appreciated as I'm very disgusted with this. --------02 sportsman 500 ho x

Default still foggy

I cracked the headlight pod on my Vinson. After that the speedo fog up when the sun hit it. I took it off and dried it out with a hair dryer, Put it back together and it still foged but only half as bad. Took it off again and put it in the warmimg drawer of my kitchen oven. Worried about it melting so only left it in there for 1/2 hour. Put it on a shelf above the wood stove for four days. It has never fogged up since.

From what I gather they are already vented and there is nothing you can do about it other than warrenty it and keep the old one if it ever goes alltogether....mine hasn't fogged since it warmed up in may!
