Quartz Mountains


If you look on the map, the Area up top that is marked Eagles Roost ORV Is where the very large beach area is. Just around the bend where the Lake goes back to the north is the large drag strip.

Down where the Golf Course is marked is where all the FUN facilities are,and that is also where the MX track is. Every Saturday Night they have Amature MX with Bikes,and Quads(all Ages).



I have been contacted by KenZ Cycle in ARIZONA, and he is very willing to make the trip down to race and have a grood time. Obviosly he is not driving 1000 miles to see my pretty face, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] SO hopefully Craycraft, The BOM, DuneDevil, Mr. HP and all othersWho had already made plans driving down to ALEDO will committ to driving CLOSER to Quartz Mountians. I know 14mins,and Bob C, are totally bummed about not hosting the event, but this STILL can be thier EVENT if they want it to be. I will help them out anyway I can.

I will take care of getting DSmike to this spot, the rest is up to YALL!


LETS GET TOGETHER AND MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!! your wifes and children will have many things to do besides watching the dust fly in the air all day, so they will probably thank you.

That is a really nice place.Is everybody gonna go the 19th or will it be later.

 

I believe it will have to be the same weekend, so everyone that has taken Vacation time,can use it.

I hope everyone can keep thier plans and meet up at this place instead. the only difference would be PADDLES instead of knobbies.

Anyone from CrayCraft Interested???? We have one HUGE commitment from KENZ CYCLE in Arizona. anyone else??

So Kenz is going to Quartz mountain. Is Craycraft going to be represented there aswell???? Bob, Mark, Dollarbillz???? I would hate to see Kenz come all the way to oklahoma, 3 or 31/2 hrs away from Aledo and not have no Craycraft Raptors to race!!!!

Roostin I guess you are not under water? It's been raining around here for a while & under water. I'm lucky but not to far away. When you have to be worried about your house, land & maybe business it's diffrerent from your seat. It's not all fun around here right now. Quartz Mountain is perfect for sand drags. The beach goes on forever and not very many people go there. I have been once and think this place would be perfect. They actualy have some small dunes too. Fun for the whole family.

 

I'll be at the race in KY next Sat. You all see who's the fastest out there and we will meet you at Aledo next year.
