I've been doing some looking around. Which would you all say is better. The 2004 Raptor 660 or The Predator 500?? I've done some test driving. I currently own a raptor and I like it a lot. I test drove the new raptor and it pretty much drives the same. But the predator, that felt like it had A LOT of power behind it! I was very impressed. BUT I'm torn now. I enjoyed them both a lot!!! What about the Raptor LE?? Is there any difference in the Raptor LE and just the Raptor?? Or is it just the color??

 

You're going to hear a lot of differing opinions....mostly everyone plugging the quad they currently ride. You did the best thing you could do by riding them for yourself. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

id buy the raptor because of the looks but i would ride a pred if i had too..

 

I did ride both of them for myself, but they're both so nice. I can't decide. I know raptors are more of a high performance machine, but the predator is really nice and I haven't really heard much about it. It doesn't look at nice as the raptor, but I really don't know. I'm trying to weigh out the pros and cons. I want it for all types of riding, dunes, trails, mountains, racing,.....everything. I just don't know. They're both great. I just wanted to get everyone else's opinion on both, if they know about them.

 

Sadly, there is no difference but plastic between standard and LE, but of the two, i would probably go with the rap. It has a little more power and even though the pred is a good bike with good power, its held back because it weighs more than it needs to, plus the ergos are uncomfortable because of the weird shaped plastic near the tank that rubs on your knees, at least thats how i felt. Of course it'll be up to you in the end, so whichever you think is a better bike for what you want to do, go with that. Also i should add that raptors have more potential than preds, there is a pretty good aftermarket for preds, but rap's just have more stuff out there to beef 'em up. You might want to post this same question in the polaris forum and compare answers. Obviously most ppl here are gonna say rap, most ppl there are gonna say pred, but read their reasons and decide for yourself.
