That looks like alot of fun. What kind of HP those guys running? Would it be possible to mount a banshee motor in one of those?

Racing these are a blast! It is just like my old MX days, but without the level of risk! My machine has a ported CR500 jug, and various speed goodies. It should be good for 70-75 hp. The stock 400 motor is about 38 hp (I think). The blue tube car in the video has a CBR 954 or something at about 150 hp. The Blue Drakart has a 580 Rotax snowmobile motor (again...I think), at about 110 hp. I would think a Banshee motor would be a waste of time if you want to push a 600 lb. car around the track. My car has the advantage over the twin cyl. motors on a tight track. I would consider a liter bike motor over a banshee.

Poke around at www.pilot-odyssey.com

There are a few cars like this in the works....
