stcok ds wheels suck, they bend too easy

seems every time I go riding I have to come back and take a hammer and bend my rims back to normal, today I was riding and the rear rim bent so bad the tire went flat. it doesn't even take a hard whack of the hammer to bend them back around the bead.
I am getting a set of .160 Douglas rear rims tomorrow (used), maybe they work better...
what thickness are the stock rims?

i'm pretty sure its .190 for 00-03, and for 04 i think they went to .160 to save weight,

A bigger tire can offset that. ALso having re-enforced rims will help too.
Make sure your tire pressure is set to 4-5 PSI. DS needs 190 thickness rims.

I'm getting a set of 22" tires to go on the .160 Douglas rims I'm getting. the rims I am getting are 10"
I run like 5 psi in the rears
it just seems like my rims bend REAL easy, I go riding on the same trails as other guys with 400ex and z400's and Banshees and they never have any problems...

My rims do that too. It doesn't happen from jumps, it happens from big rocks. Here on the East Coast you can't avoid them and everytime I ride I bend at least one rim. Anyone know where to get steel rims or reinforcing rings?
