since the shee vs pred topic brought the rapto in to the conversation, i wanna know why it was, i think these pred owners have been beaten too many times or something cause why else would they keep bringing up raptors? it just makes no sense...anyways how many of you guys have raced a predator?

As previously posted on the shee vs pred thread. Keep in mind that I am not biased in any way. Two of my buddies bought 4 -wheelers the same day. One rap and one pred. It did not matter if it was a long or short drag the raptor beat the predator every time even when they swaped bikes. I don't know how it would end up after they were modified but stock to stock the raptor is just plain faster.

i have a buddy that has a raptor that he let me ride and it is bone stock. we were riding and a predator asked him to race. the predator had a pipe, jetting ,filter and some other mods. my friend cant race that well so i raced him for my friend and we raced four times and he would win by the front tire every time only because i couldnt keep the front end down because the razrs grabbed so well but if i could keep the front end down and keep from having to walk it i could have beat him

 

I raced a stock pred several times when I only had the pipe and filter, and the stock pred never came close. Something around 8-10 lenghts on pavement. So he geared it down one tooth for better acceleration and the results were the same. So I don't know where the Pred guy's get the impression that a stock pred will beat a piped Raptor.

 

ok this is how it is i have never seen stock vrs stock a rappy take a pred but bothe piped the rappy was takung the pred every time these are both my buddys that ride verry well and the same weight but no mater my ds smokes them every time lol
