I own a tricked out 250r right now..but i am selling it to get a newer year ( I own and I want to get an 87 and trick it out with all the goodies ), but before i do that i wanted to ask the ATVers out there what would be better? A brand new 400ex with like, say, holeshot front and backs with a aftermarket Exhaust and silencer, nerf bars, AC bumbper and Grab bar, Pro Taper bars, and twin air filter. OR..an 86 250r motor rebuilt 2 years ago with Lonestar +2 a-arms, durablue axle, lonestar swingarm, nerfs, pipe, bars, bumpers, tires, kill switch, race plastic and all the other MX goodies? I really need help on this guys..what would be better for MX? 400ex or 250r? Please help!!!!

 

I would stick definitely with the 250. Look at all of the pros they do not ride on the 400 EX's and probably never will. The 250 is KING!!!
