Default transmission leaking on 2003 racher es???

i was doing some cleaning today and noticed what appeared to be some fluid on the backside lower right side of the engine. if you follow the foot brake back to where it meets the floor board plastic there is a real shiny allan screw on the side of the engine. right in this area there seems to be some fluid leaking. the fluid extends down and underneath the backside of the engine. is this where the tranny is and if so could i check the fluid somehow??
thanks\
sean

don't know what it is that is leaking, but because the trans is inside of the engine [all one piece]
by checking the engine oil you are checking the trans oil.

"a real shiny allan screw"..........that cap is for the timing hole in case you have to adjust your valves, it has a o-ring to seal it. Take the cap out and inspect the o-ring it is probable just some dirt just clean it good and clean the area on the engine to and if the o-ring is torn get a new but is probable just dirt ...put the cap back in and torgue to 7 ft lbs ..if you got a torgue wrench that goes that low, I don't so I just snug it up real good.....no big deal......then check your oil level again.
