JUST KIDDING its a fast bike . But the brakes suck compared to my old 650 and p700. Its cool i dont have to try to do whieels any more it just comes up. I wish it would come up at higher speeds like 25+ mph, but its got alot of breaking in to do so she will get quicker. Again the brakes really suck . I have 25 inch paddle master tires does anybody know if it will fit on the back cause it doesnt have of clearance between the foot pegs and the 22 in holshots.

My brakes don't suck at all, first time I have heard of this from any V owner. Maybe your brakes are screwed up or something.

my brakes work great. take it back to the dealer.

also, I can pull wheelie at 1/2 throttle with a good jerk on the bars.
I have not tried it at faster speeds as I dont usually carry extra underwear

Well I must say the brakes on my V force aren't that great either..... That is they just don't work as well as I would like.... I think it might be that the V force is heaver than other quads and just takes a bit more to stop it.......

I have read were replacing the front brake lines that are rubber with braided steel works better. check for a thread in this forum.

You'll definitely notice a difference by changing over to braided lines (I have Galfer lines - see my photos). You'll lose that "spongy" feeling and get a much better "feel" of your brakes.

I used to think my P700's rear brake didn't work that good. But wait, then I figured out that the rear brakes worked great, but what was happening was the rear tires were locking up and the thing just wasn't slowing down even though the rear set was locked up. I little more use of the front brakes and judicious use of the rear brakes solved the problem.......

I have no problem locking up the rear brakes, it's the front brakes that I wish worked a little better.....

thats what i ment . My back brakes are perfict i can lock them up on pavemant . But the front disc brakes a signifantly smaller than the ones on the p650/700 . the front brakes just dont fell as strong.
