I had over a month wait getting my CPI's. If you find a set of CPI's in stock expect too pay another $100 over retail.

 

What type carbs are you waiting on alky?

 

A set of stockers that have been bored all the way out to 28mm[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]. Thats all my little motor needs[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].

One of my friends just ordered CPI's a couple of weeks ago and he got them Monday.He ordered them form Parts Direct for $545.

One of the guys that was dragging down at LS was running Big Bore CPI drag pipes on what he said was a 350 and it ran very good. It might be worth trying at the very least.

Thanks for the offer Daren. We'll see how these "unknown" pipes run first. I know of a stock bore gas 350 that pulled 83 HP with these "unknown" pipes.

Since the Paducah races were cancelled, I have once again slowed progress on my bike. I will be finishing with the frame this weekend and will get it painted the first part of next week. Swingarm, pipes, and carbs should be back then too.

Do you know if the drag strip at Benton is still open even though the dirt track is closed?

 

The dragstrip was open last Sunday. That is when that bad black Corvette was down there. I just got my new parts in today, so we might be going down there to test and tune tonight.

Benton has a bulletin board on fastfridaynights.com where people talk about the racing. Jimmy usually posts about the dates and times.
