I have an 02 400ex ... and my friend mike has a kfx400 he says that his quad has way more low end and can weelie easier.... i told him that we're the same low end, but the reason he can weelie easier is because it's so much taller compared to mine. There are no mods to either engine. Also we drag raced and mine won.. by like 6 feet... and also i rode his and he rode mine and my gears are WAY longer.. like 1.5 times longer than his ESPECIALLY my 4th gear.... I dont know why this is... BUT.... anyways what would u guyz say has more low end and torque.. the reason i'm arguing his "point, that his has more low end" is because we have a 50-60 foot sand dune hill and it's not vertical but it's not .... not steep.... but he says he can go up it in 5th gear there for more low end.. i told him my gears are longer so it takes longer to get up to full speed if we start at same poitn i hit the bottom of the sand pit at 4th gear and he's well into 5th.....
what are your thoughts and opinion on who's has more low end/torque/ and top speed.

 

the 400ex actually has more low end torque i think.

ur friend must not be that good at riding if both quads are stock and you beat him by about 6 feet, the kfx should be a little faster even though most ex pilots wont admit it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

the kfx is always faster........in reverse[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]


but on a more serious note the kfx should be faster and i do think they wheelie easier, but i think the ex handles better
