This bolt rattled off my 2001 raptor, and now it's my understanding that you can't buy a replacement bolt at the yamaha stealership??? Is this true? if it is, does anyone here know where to get one of these replacements at??

I may have one for you. I just upgraded my axle and had to replace them to fit my new brake stay if its the same one we are both talking about. I dont see anything unusual about it, I bet you can get one at your local bolt and nut house.....

 

I am sorry, I was talking about the brake stay mounting bolts..... duh.... LOL!! is it the one with the threads half way on th bolt?

 

I'd really be interested if it's the same bolt. I will take a pic this weekend at the latest, and I'll post, just to give you an idea of the bolt I need. thanks again!

 

ok, cuz I just looked it up on my microfiche and if its the othe bolt with the threads half way I got a part number and called my dealer and they said that they are orderable. Less than $6.00 each he said.
