The Warrior lost it's character.

The Warrior is now less of a machine. The new Raptor 350 is still a Warrior with just a few changes. Even though Yamaha tried to improve the handling they killed it's character. Before it was ok to be less cc's because the Warrior put in it's time. At one time, the Warrior was considered one of the faster quads. It also had a different look to it. Now it's a underpowered 350 (compared to the 400's) that looks just like the rest of the Yamaha's. Even though Yamaha tried to improve the warrior, it is less of a machine.
Yamaha should have made their improvements and kept the Warrior name with a little different style. I was thinking about getting a Raptor 350. Now that I've thought it over, I won't. I would rather buy a 400.
Does anyone understand what I'm trying to say?

One more thought- Some people will say that it was outdated or a piece of cr4p. If it was so terrible then yamaha should have made a new product from scratch instead of revamping the Warrior.
It's like the transformation of the Timberwolf to the Beartracker and now the Bruin 250. The only people it's fooling are the people that don't know any better.

I wouldn't even care if they woulda got rid of the YFM350X...they coulda still called it a Warrior instead of trying to make it a cool and fun "RAPTOR!!!"....I think I'm gonna send a letter to Yamaha asking them to Change the Raptor 350 to Warrior....til then...I will like them....but not as much as my warrior......RIP Warrior!

The thing that pi$$es me off the most is that Yamaha never gave the warrior consideration in the first place thats why there were no significant updates to the warrior and that makes me sick if they werent so lazy the Warrior would still be alive and kicking. But they had to change it and call it a raptor.... I just wish that Yamah would stop living in Raptorland and start making original bikes.

What warrior? there is no warrior. Now there is just a sissyfied raptor. The warrior was a great woods machine and did things other 300-400cc machines couldnt. Now you get a baby raptor with all of the warriors short comings and none of its good features.
