Met some buds at The Dunes in Forrest Hill and had a good time. Did a little dra racing and a little grilling. We were bummed about Aledo and the other rides that didnt happen so we just headed to La. Saw a few forum riders. My DS represented the Bomb guys quite well. Anyone else go or ride anywhere.

 

Glad to meet up with your gang again Meaner,i guess you got your bike figured out.How did Jakes bike do ? Let me know when ya'll are headed back down.I didn't blow anything so i guess it was a good day.

 

How was the turnout this weekend? I wish I could have made it.

 

There was a pretty good turnout,Meaner and his group found a pretty smooth place to drag.As usual Meaner has some pretty fast quads with em.I may head back that way for the 4th weekend.

 

Not sure if I will be able to make 4th of July weekend. I will know by the week before.

 

I was bummed out about all the rain too, but I went to my local 1/8th mile track. This was the first time for me to even ride since I saw ya'll last time at LA Dunes...that was Oct I think.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] I had some carb problems Friday night, I couldn't run over 3/4 throttle. But I talked to a guy today who thinks I need a new needle...we'll see. Anyway I still went 80 without being able to open it all the way up. My 60 and reaction time SUCKS!!!! I gotta practice and get some new tires.lol

 

Congrads Ward, on getting your quad running again. What times did you get. Even with the problems.

 

I went 80MPH, which was ok, but I only had a 8.4 et, which sucks. I wanted to be under 8.0 by the end of the night, but with track problems and my problems there was no way. I am working on fixing everything now...or as soon as I can save enough of my pennies to get some tires. I want to talk to MrHP before I get another new meterring rod, since they aren't quite as cheap as jets. lol

 

CED it was cool to meet up and talk. That damn Polaris was runnin. Jakes bike was awesome. I can actually say Id be scared to ride it. He was beating everyone by at least 4 or 5. Yes I did get mine running. It was water in my alky. Sorry I never got to runn you on it CED. Maybe next time. The dunes were better than I expected. Id heard how bad they were but I just wanted to ride. We had fun. Our group had a YFZ, Raptor, 3 Bombs, 2 250Rs, banshee and some 400s. All in all a fun trip. Got to ride with a couple of new guys in Shaun and Robby. That 450 was running great and the DS is a different beast on alky. Old blue was running great so I was pleased. Thanks Mr HP and hope to see all you guys soon. Any word on Aledo yet?

 

Still no word on a reschedule date yet. Ward have you heard anything??
