Well about 3 or 4 months ago i bought a stock throttle cable off ebay. To make a long story short i sent the guy the money and never recieved the throttle cable so i really couldnt do anything about it since he was 1500 miles away. Then about a month or 2 ago i noticed RobK on here llived in the same town as the guy who ripped me off. We sent a few PM's and he said that there was a DS at the address the guy had me send the $$ to so he must have the parts. Rob had stopped in a few times but no one was ever home. Then a week or so ago he stopped by asking about the DS parts but playing it cool. I guess the guy sold his DS and bought a boat but still had the stock parts. So Rob offered to buy some ramps from him if he included all the stock DS parts he still had. And Rob PM'd me saying he had my throttle cable and asking for my address so he can send it to me.

I dont know what to say Rob but a huge thanks goes out to you and i believe everyone on here has a right to know this story. I think we need more people in this world like Rob. Rob went out of his way and spent his time and money trying to get something for me(and another person on ebay that got ripped off from him too) that didnt involve him at all and that is really appreciated.

Did the culprit offer up any explanation as to "WHY" he never sent the money for the part(s)?!?!?!

I always am curious as to why people rip others off....
And then they complain as to 'why' they in turn got ripped off somewhere else in life.

 

Now there is a great reason to belong to the DS family. My hats off to ya Rob you are what we all should be.
