I was at Silver Lake Sand dunes last weekend and was drag racing with some of the "other" brands. The only quad that beat me every time was a DS650. I was running against some 400EX's , a couple Banshees and a couple of Z 400's. They couldn't get the hole shot like the ol' belt drive quad. My quad was pullin a wheelie about 3 quad lenghts off the start even when I was leaning forward but I kept her straight just to watch them follow me to the finish.LOL. Just thought I would share this with you folks. I really like the "belt drive Tank" my friends hate!!!!!
Oh ya, I am running 20x10x10 Skat-Trak Haulers. They hook up GREAT!

Ya, I know. I should have had Rick port my cylinder when he had it to bore. Maybe during this winter when I freshen it up!!!

 

i think its a statement that some newer models got from severals years now,it proven to be quick,a liquid cooled 400 polaris with proper tweaking,,i seen severals folks to have to chance to live it at the dragsghip.it is sad the model is no longer built,cauze their memories
will remember longer...
the '99 scrambler and sport are to be the fastest through the years ever built so it not bad,.
have fun,sure they blast as hell.
