What's some opinions on a pipe to buy for my 400EX?

big gun?
duncan double barrel?
Yoshimura?

I am used to riding banshee's, this is my first 4 stroke, is it worth putting a pipe on a 4 stroke?

 

i would say the best pipe is a dmc. it is loud but it has an awsome sound to it. you should deffinetally put a pipe on a 4-stroke, it improves acceleration, speed, and it gives it a kick azz look.

Wait till the next issue of ATV Sport magazine comes out. In the latest issue they mentioned that they will be doing a comparison between different pipes for the 400EX.

I have a e-series silencer on my 400EX. It is very loud with 12 to 14 disks in place. One of the mounting brackets broke off after only a couple months of light use.

 

I am running the FMF PowerCore IV (with spark arrestor) and its not too loud. (Not quiet either ) I have been VERY impressed with the quality of the pipe and my performance gains.

I ride with a guy that has a White brothers series -e. You don't want this pipe because its LOUD.

When we ride for a long time his quad give me a headache, go figure!
