1978 Honda ATC70 for me. Man did I put that thing through hell.

 

85 Yamaha y zinger 60 still running today never had the motor gone through and will scare me at 220 lbs. Has a bent axle and was painted pink for a little girl.

 

Polaris Trail Boss 250 (now they call them Trail Blazers I think).

I was getting them for a great price too from the Winery my Wife works at. Bought two for $1200 each then sold one for $2000. Bought two more for $1250 each then sold them for about $2000 each (sold them right after I bought my DS.) Finally sold the last one for about $1800.

Those were the good ol' days. The hobby wasn't expensive and I actually was able to make a few bucks on buying and selling quads.

Now-a-days the Winery wants about $2000 for the same quads and I probably couldn't get $1800 for them. Oh well, was good while it lasted.

war-terd I mean worrior. the first one out of the dealer in 86, I think 87 was the first yr. Big mistake beat the crap out of it, should of bought a 250R.

Seriously tho, I've ridden dirt bikes for 20 years so it's not quite as crazy as it sounds.

First machine was a kz75 with 9 inch tires from the early 70's.

Went from that to a mid eighties DR100, then a KX125 and on and on and on...
