Default need help on jetting

hello all i am new to this. i have a 04 kfx700. i di the hmf single exh. i rejetted to recomended 142 front 145 rear. after reading about the air box mods, i removed the wall inside air box, six uni vents in air box with K&N. i have since rejtted to 145 front and 148 rear. about 2 and half turns out. on the four gas analizer it reads just a little lean. living in cali the closes place to ride is an hour away, so i can check to the plugs to see how its running mid and full throttle. am i on the right track? what do you al lthink? should i go higer in the jets? any advise would be great!

You seem to be on the right track. You can keep doing plug checks and adjustments till you get it dialed in. Or you can find a local dyno. I had mine on a dyno recently. It's pretty cool to see how any adjustments, or changes, you make affect the performance. If they charge you to do the jetting or changes then it can get a little pricey. Check their policy beforehand and see if you can do the work.
