Default Need Help Finding Parts!

Can anyone help me find some parts on my quadsport? I have a 1990 LT250s Quadsport, and I am looking for a stock 250r Header pipe. (you know .. those fatty ones). I am also looking for some Nerfs too (Preferably used ones). And finally, does anyone know how you can take the springs off of the shocks, and put them back on ?? Thank you in advance if anyone responds!

Hello there !
Well your really out of luck on getting a 2 stroke pipe for a 4 stroke machine you'll NEVER in a million years see a "FATTY"pipe made for a 4 stroke machine. There are however ALOT of pipe
applications out there for the 4 stroke,I had the same machine as you but the '89 {brand new}
and I had put on the Cobra exhaust and was pretty impressed with the power gains and overall
performance of the pipe and of course the cost was right as well!!
As far as nerfbars you really should get new ones for it they arent all that expensive about
$125 maybe less for the steel ones. Hope this helps. You can also find quadsport parts on ebay
just punch in quadsports and it should bring it up. GOOD LUCK!!

dont you think that you could flip the 2-stroke Fatty pipe around and with a little heat bend it so it will fit ?

why do you think a two stroke pipe would work on a four srtoke engine? you need to get the right pipe for the bike so no exhaust leaks which can be bad on the valves.

If you cut the tip of the exhaust and either cut it off and stick the regular piece on , and / or Flange the end of the fatty pipe out then wouldnt it work .. all the header pipe has to do is Press the seal tight against the head. If the 250r fits, and it seals with the seal, then wouldnt that work anyways???

dude...listen...the fatty is a TWO STROKE PIPE...your lt250S is a FOUR STROKE which means it needs a FOUR STROKE PIPE. It doesnt matter if the pipe would fit or not, it would not work/would run like a total piece of crap. Buy a DG or Cobra or some universal fit exhaust for your wheeler.

So your saying I'll have to keep the small exhaust. Okay, thats cool . I need to find a nice cheap tip that looks nice though. I dont like the stock LT250s exhaust. One more thing . I am getting 18x11x10 rims, and i need tubes for em because the sides of the nice holeshot rubbers are cracked. If i stuck tubes in it, it would work gr8 .. what size tube should i get you think? This is the site im looking at (http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...13/PID-1264727)

you dont have to keep ur small exhaust...u do have a few choices...
1 - Buy a 250r for the big pipe
2 - Put a 250r engine in ur 250s frame
3 - Put the pipe on there just to be cool, cause i know it wouldnt run.

What kind of tires are you putting on your 18-11-10 rims?
