Default Suspension Questions

Thinking about upping the suspension on the rappy after the pipe/power kit I'm going to order. First, what other model shocks would fit the raptor 350/warrior? What would be the best brand to go with for racing? Sometime in the future I am going to extend the a-arms, so when I ordered the shocks would I have to order them to fit +2 arms or just order them for the stock length arms?

you would have to order them for stock and then have them resleeved at $75 when you got a-arms

do some research, cause there is a lot of money to be spent in suspension upgrades

Voodoo is right. Suspension can be more expensive than engine. You can get long travel shocks or stock fit shocks. You would want stock fit and then purchase non long travel a-arms. You can purchase +2 a-arms that arent long travel. Shocks are about 1400 front and rear for Elkas. They are 1 of the best brands. To be truly race ready you will need new a-arms, shocks, cromoly swingarm, and rear axel. You could go without the rear axel and swing arm. Stock aluminum swing arms are lighter but also weaker. When you break or bend them you could replace it then. However if it results in a crash or a missed race you wont be happy. It can truly get mind blowing when you see the price quotes. You will need about 3000 for suspension.

i would go with elka's.they are very good and durable and can take alot of beating. But i would not get new shocks right away because the stock rap350 shocks are not to bad and they might do pretty good for atleast a few races.
