Default wheel spacers for raptor

http://www.off-road.com/atv/reviews/...ts/sand-sport/
http://www.durablue.com/spacers.html

was debating....would this work well and solve the tippiness of the raptor in corners?

are there any downsides if I went this route?

are all wheel spacers the same or is their 1 brand to get?

please share your experiences or opinion

Default wheel spacers for raptor

The durablue ones come in a set. It widens the rear 2.5'' on each side and 1.5'' on each side in the front. It will make your raptor alot easier on sharp cornors and will handle alot better. I run them on my blaster and have no problems with them. Some people say you can't jump with them but it depends on what type of jumping you are doing. I wouldn't suggest them on a MX track but for just cruzin around and hitting the occasional jump they will be fine.

The sand sport ones are souposed to be great because you don't have to remove the existing studs. The durablue ones come in two different styles. Graphite lite (the ones pictured on the web site ) which require you to remove your studs and put in new longer ones that are provided with the kit. These are the ones that i got and had no problem removing the old ones and installing the new. It took about 1/2 hour to do the whole job. Also, durablue makes one called EZ fit which are simliar to the sand sport ones. They don't require the removal of the studs, but at the same time are 30 bucks more I think..

If you didn't want to go with wheel spacers another option to consider would be off-set wheels..
Hope this helps.

Well said Shavo...The EZ Fits are only 89.99 a set at MagicRacing.com...

I used them for a while in my raptor, now i just have the axle and the spacers in the front. The ez fits eliminate the hastle of haveing to pound the studs out..and i find the sandtechs to be grossly overpriced.

The Durablue Eliminator Axle which is stock length, +2 or +4 is only 289.99 @ RockyMountainATV.com...
Either way u cant go wrong..

Have fun!

offset rims....hmmmm

what offset would give me an extra inch on each side?

what rims are most popular/durable these days?

was looking at a rear axle and it said sprocket hub not included....what is that and how much does it cost in addition to the $350 axle?

First off i wouldnt do offset wheels, i would just get like douglas .190's they are really strong...as strong as it gets until you do beadlocks.

GET AN AXLE! Durablue Eliminator @ RM only 289..thats less then the sandtech spacers. Just USE UR STOCK SPROCKET HUB...Its what holds the sprocket to the axle...

Aftermarket GYT-R Sprocket hubs are like 230.00
