EPI Weights and Pink Spring installed
#1
I put the EPI 54g weights in this weekend with the EPI pink spring and it was a nice finishing touch to the BB kit. I was concerned that 54g was too light, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all. I don't recommend these weights for stock or mildly modified machines, but the BB guys may want to give them a try.
I didn't get to do a long run with them in, but my arms were feeling pumped from holding on the bit I did run it. Wheelies are a constant and you can skim the front wheels along just by giving it a shot of gas.
Everything should be complete and ready for pictures by the weekend, so I'll get some new pix on my page shortly.
My Dyna CDI is going to have to get replaced. The kickback isn't a problem starting cold, but hot starts are really touchy. I'll wait until I do my dyno runs with it in the next few weeks and then I'll get it back to them for a replacement.
Peace,
