Have they perfected the install and setup yet? I know a couple of companies were building a kit awhile back and just wanted to know if it was completed and the outcome.

Hey Raptorowner did you ever get a response on the fuel injection question? I am also interested in this as FCR's would be my next mod (provided there isn't a good FI setup out there for the Rap)

I was playing around with this using megasquirt as the fuel injection computer. Need to iron out throttle body issues tho.

I did at one time but now they include the whole turbo setup and I guess they dont have a separate install. Its about 4500.00 complete so I rather put that in my motor rather than purchasing the FI system. JMO

 

I called Kelly over at KMS yesterday.. He said $1295 out the door for the FI kit... You can add the turbo later.. That includes the upgraded stator and everything. Not bad considering a new set of FCR's is aroun 800-900..

 

Thats odd, I called him a couple of months ago and they wouldnt sell it to me without the turbo..... Why are people like that????????????????????????

 

I don't know? Maybe they though the demand would be higher for the turbo+efi kits and didn't want to sell em seperate. I screwed up when I said $1295 was everything... Its $1495 and the stator is extra... For me it's still worth it because I am sick of carbs! ... And I have experience tuning fuel injection so I am hoping that stuff will cross over. Looks like a high quality kit from what I've seen and heard...

I will likely order the efi kit next week (friday) .. I'll let you know how it works out once I get it and install it.
