Default questions about outlander 400

Just brought it home this afternoon and for the most part I am still in awe. otd for 5200 with front and rear rack extenders thrown in. Think I did pretty good on the price. This thing really handles well and has lots of power. I do have a couple questions for you outlanderr owners. First and most noticable is the whine from the cvt. It seems to be quite loud. I can hear it just about all the time I am riding over 10 mph. Is this normal? Are there any fixes or is that how it's always going to be. Secondly, At about 40mph this vibration in the foot pegs starts to really get noticable. How does this compare to others or is this normal also. These are my only two issues on my outlander. This thing really seams to be built well and I like the features that it offers, especially the ifs rear suspension. It was between the outlander and the 450 kodiak. I went from a 325 magnum to this and there is no comparision between the two. The ride is awesome. Thanks for all the help.

The whine has been called normal. The vibrations are too although mostly on the 330's. Just querks of the Outlander. Wait till the clanking starts from the engine brake.....
You get 4x4 or 4x2? I paid $5300 OTD for my 4x2 with no options. A month later the same dealer had them for $4900 OTD!

Default questions about outlander 400

I sold a 2004 Magnum 4" x 4" a few weeks ago to buy a Outlander 330 4 x 4 yellow and before that I had a 2000 MAgnum. This Outlander is night and day from the Magnum. Paid 5109.50 otd that was with the factory mirror. My brother bought an Outlander 330 this past Christmas (he sold a Magnum too) and now that its broken in it seems to have less vibration. Only have 6 miles on mine, havent had any top speed runs yet but my brothers will run 52/53mph, not bad for a 330. I will be riding next Friday with a 2000 Sportsman 500 RSE, hopefully I can get it broke in in time bceacuse it should be a close race. I really dont notice any odd clunking nosises, it seems to be built very well with little to no vibration. Bombardier has always bulit great products, sea-doos and skid-doo and this atv is no different. I thought my 2004 Magnum was a nice machine until my brother brought home his 330 Outlander, it quickly mad the Magnum look like it was 20 years old.

Ive got a few suggestions for you all.

First. Stay out of the bushes and dont rub against trees.. The reason being is that in a matter of weeks my lander looked like it was 10 years old.. lol

Second. YOU WILL HEAR TEH CLUNKING! Mine is 10X worse after my wreck..

Third. DO NOT hit a tree at 30mph. That causes lots of problems. lol

Fourth. Anyone want a messed up 'Lander frame?
