you guys serious? i run at 162 at wide open throttle up here all day long
at about 1200 degree on temp,168 main is on the rich side up here,,,
but i do need a rich pilot jet tough...

just get back off the phone with hpd,main jet is 172 to 175,race mods only.35 pilot jet,6.5 slide,needle middle clip position,run at 1150 to 1200 on temp guage at WOT.

I think location and density altitude plays an important part. CED, I have had 2 buddies meltdown at Sahara with the same jetting they run here. The altitude is almost 900 feet higher which shouldnt do that, but the density altitude must be the difference.

Well we know now that there are different 39 carbs,i mean that they are setup different.If you buy one at a local carb house it will not perform the way that HPD has them setup.Bob and i found this out when i sent him my carb to try out.The difference was night and day.I think there are a couple guy's on here that are missing out on the full performance of the race mod by running the old style 39 carb.
