Default Back brake question.

If I only want the back brake to be controlled from the foot pedal, can I just disconnect the brake line from it and put a plug in there?

I already have the front brakes. now i need back brakes. I cant exactly use a brake splitt kit b/c i am not using any polaris parts for the brakes up front.

The foot pedal already only operates the back brake (100%). The hand lever operates 60 % rear, 40 % front.

Default Back brake question.

im pretty sure that more braking power goes to the front. its jsut like a car. more weight is thrown up front when u hit the brakes so there fore more traction up front. and besides why else would my front wheels lock up on gravel and not my backs when i clamp on my brakes hard. but troyer i completely forgot about the quad u were building. yes u can disconect them, but sinse the stock polaris rear brake pedal is a little weak u may want to get a new rotor and heavy duty pads.JMO good luck

The blond is Machelle Riesier, she races in the GNC for East Coast ATV, go to their web site for more pics under "flesh". She also did a Maxxis poster. You can also see here in the mags, past issue of ATV Rider and Dirt wheels or atv sport. The brunett is an x- girlfriend. LOL, just a model, I think, off this site.

Oh yah, back to the topic, 60% front , 40 % rear. 100% rear on the foot brake.

You can disconnect the line coming from the front and cap it. Then, you need a junction box to connect both of the line coming from the back caliper to the rear master cylinder line to get the full braking power. I am eventually going to do this

Default Back brake question.

I am confused. My caliper has the one place for the brake line to go in. Where is it I need to run lines to?
