I have a 1993 trx300 4x4 and last night when I turned on my lights the bike shut off. I tried it a couple of times and this happened every time. I started checking my wiring and I unplugged a box on the front end. It was black with 2 green plugs in it. After unplugging this box, everything worked fine! I took the box to a dealer and was told that it is an alarm unit and that with it off the indicator lights (netural, reverse and oil temp) would not work. These all work and the bike is running fine! Does anyone know what this alarm box is for?
