If its tight and twisty trails, 400EX
If its more sandy hill climbs and straights, 660R
I can't think of a reason to have a Banshee over a Raptor. Stock for Stock they are about the same acceleration wise. Personally, I like the way the Raptor handles over the Banshee, the 400EX handles better than both but doesn't have as much power.
Pricing is something you will just have to get a feel for in your area, especially in more remote places (Maine is up there).

for your size, I would look at the 450's
if you are set in those choices....definately the raptor if you plan on upgrading
banshee if you want a 2 stroke
predators can be found used and are usually a good value

First off you are going to have a hard time finding a 2000 Raptor and you don't want a 2001(bad tranny) but as for the question of the three. What is the most important to you? Speed, Agility, Raw Power. Take your pick because none of these quads have all of those things.
Speed------Banshee
Agility------400ex
Power------Raptor
And don't tell me that you can handle a shee. I got my first quad at 2 years old and have been riding since and the shee is still a handful when you give it a little whiskey throttle.

I got my raptor when I was 12. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it
He is a pretty big 14 year old, I think he can handle it, age has nothing to do with riding.

I'd get a raptor, okay trail quad, plenty of power for the pits, and hills, and fairly reliable 02'+. I had modded banshee (40+ hp) at 13, and I could handle it, and I really liked it, but I sold it because it just wasn't a good trail rider, and I ride with slow-old dad, and slow little sister, so it just loaded up and fouled plugs. right now I have a modded 400ex, and it's pretty good in trails, but in an open feild or dunes, it just needs more topend, so, now I'm lookin at getting a raptor! good luck findin one that suits you!
