If you are just going to be a weekend warrior type racer..like most of us.
-You will need to join the AMA which is around $40 a year.
-You will need to join your race district (mine was around $30)
-Most tracks charge for each weekend worth of riding/racing also which was around $15.
After the first few initial fees...It is not that costly to race on the weekends. Until you factor in Fuel, oil, food, lodging, transportation, and regular maintenance.
