Hey! I just bought a Bruin 350 4x4 and i love it so far. A couple of questions though.....

1)Whats the top speed?
2)Where can i get performance parts for it?
3)Do they make a speedo for it?

 

First of all, welcome to the forums.

As for your questions, top speed is going to be around 50, give or take, i dont know exactly but its in that area.

Performance parts are going to be pretty non-existant. I dont know what you would consider performance parts for a ute, but a pipe is about as far as you can go to my knowlege, of which i doubt there are very many yet, its a new
model.

Speedos are available for any quad (if you can find a good mounting position), trailtech makes a computer / speedo that bolts on to the handlebars and will work just fine.

 

Hey there, I have the Bruin 350 2x4! WIth my lard butt, my top speed so far is 40mph maybe just a hair over at max. I do not have a Speedo, but for $99 why don't you go to walmart and pick up a Garmin Etrex GPS! (I paid $20ish for a mount and put it on my front rack)

The GPS has a speedo built in and will help you find the trail heads, etc!

As far as pipes, etc, almost nothing "bruin" specific, but search for Bruin at ebay there is one small mod I think. Personally I don't need more speed at the cost of being "louder" and havent done that yet.

I noticed there is a rev limiter on it, is there anyway to take it off without blowing it up?

One of the people in our riding group just picked up a new Bruin. Very sharp looking quad....

 

Im not going to suggest that you take off the limiter, but there should be a throttle adjustment screw that allows you to change how far you can open the throttle, hence allowing you to rev slightly higher. I dont know if they set it low from stock and you can open it up a lot more, or if its already at the max recommended setting. Check your manual for details. Being a 4-stroke 4x4 it doesnt make a lot of high-rpm power, so i dont see any point in making it rev higher. If increased speed is what you want, i dont know how to help you there, if it was a chain driven bike you could change the sprockets, but its shaft so theres not much you can do.
