put the race models on front with piggybacks and rear w/remote and linkage

it dropped the height of the seat by about 2 inches and it handles awesome now

all on factory setup, got a rear axle and front a-arms on order

but even with stock setup, these shocks allow me to plow thru terrain that would have derailed me on stock shocks

feels like a totally new ride now...all raptor owners...this is the ticket

I am really impressed with the handling now and I dont feel tippy at all

elka gets a big thumbs up from me, very, very happy

How much did the setup set you back? Did you get the rear too?

They made a huge diff. in my Z400(totally diff. ride). It's hard to let go of that much money but , after all was said and done it was the best money i've spent on it. I'm building a YFZ 450 now.I'm thinking of trying AXIS long travel.

I can't wait to see what my LSR DC4's and PEP's shocks do to my YFZ. The wait is killing me!!!!!

Did you order +offset a-arms? If you bought the front shocks for the stock a-arm length they will not work right with the +offset a-arms. If you got say a +2" set of a-arms you'll need different shocks to go with that setup.

roger, thank you for the heads up...I did have to order a new spring to adjust for the +2 a-arms...they will accept my old ones if they still look new in trade....if not then its $70 more bones for 2 new springs (1 for each side)

said +2 a-arms add like 80 lbs of extra weight/pressure to shocks per side(thats why need stiifer middle spring I believe (don't know which spring for sure yet....but its one out of the three that are there)
