my friend bought a rappy 3 months ago. it is a 2002. but the trany blew. the starter sort of poped out of the motor and it just locked up. i know the 2001 had trany problems and his was supposed to be a 2002. we think the dealer took the motor from a 2001 and put it in the 2002, so he could sell it. if anyone blew there trany, could you tell me what happened to yours ? also he blew his shifting into 3rd.

 

Are you sure the 1way wasnt going out? Possibly not the trans if the 1way exploded and sent shrapnel flying.

i doubt a dealer would do that. There must of been a reason why they traded in the raptor..cuz it was about to launch the trans.
