Its a nice, light little 4x4, with a great price tag but is lacking low range. It doesnt have the digital speedometer as the 450 or 660, or disc brakes, but this no big deal and probably why the price is lower. One thing that would be nice on it is disc brakes.

I like mine, i had mine up to water/mud up to the top of the stock tires and didnt really have any problem. Its not the fastest out there, but after all it wasent made for speed, now was it? The only thing i do not like is it doesent have a speedo, the back brake isent that good, and no high and low range. Its definatly worth the money, but for a extra 300-500 i would look at the Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4.

Actually the bruin does have front hydraulic disc brakes. I usually only use the front brakes because they are the only ones that respond. Also, the reason it doesnt have a speedometer or low range gear is because it is a "value laden" quad. They stripped it down to a basic quad to cut the price for people who do not want anything they dont need. I do wish they had models with a speedometer low range and all the goodies.

i have a 05 bruin and mines only a 2x4 i really like it, had no problems with it, wish i would have opted for the 4x4 but now that the snow is going should be alot better, not the best in snow my wife has a timberwolf 2x4 and she kills me in snow, i think because its lighter she shoots across the top, but it gives my buddies and wife something to tease me about LOL. also like was said earlier not the fastest but its a blast to drive, i also wish it had the gauges but there not available, i think you will like the bruin, next year im getting a 4x4 bruin.
