Default first race on the 686

This weekend will be the first race on the raptor with the new 686 I built. still got to turn the air fuel out or change the pilots to stock and open them way up, I'm out of time to get some 25's but I dont ride that low of rpm during a race, so only need to get it close. got the spark arrestor built, looks good to me just hope it passes tech inspection!!!!!! I lost the other one while I was riding it for breakin, along with an but load of tools. who ever found it pulled out my jet kit and left it on the side of the trail, so it wasnt a total loss. Anyway we will see how well the DWC 686 holds up to 50 miles of desert race. its in espanola new mexico, so if your around come check it out...

Good luck! If you win the race I recommend you posting a pic in your bio of Pat grinding on your cylinder head with a huge smile....

sounds like a good idea, but as long as I finish and the bike runs strong the whole race he would deserve a pic like that. I am really happy with the work he did, but on a race like this it's 70% rider ability, 10% motor, and 20% suspension, or some where in there.
