How much do you have in your Quad ?

I have been looking at these post and read the sometimes long list of mods people have added to their quads and just wander what is the total investment you have in your Quad ?

1986 250R Fourtrax----$1900 FMF Fatty---$160 FMF Silencer w/spark arrestor---$125 IMS fuel tank---$175 Sand Skate I's on Douglas wheels---$200 Holeshots (front) on Douglas wheels---$160
Top-end rebuilt @ Trinity Racing---$300 Another top-end @ Trinity (I don't go there anymore)---$150 Split case rebuild @ Honda---$430 Renthal bars---$80 Turftamers @ garage sale---$30 (with wheels!!) Thumb-throttle to replace twist---$50 Total so far---$3640. And that's just my quad, not counting my wife's!!

CHA CHING!!!!!! Let's see 5499.99 for quad add tax so like 6200 then add like 3600 for a grand total of 9800.... $9800.00 Dollars... Good Lord!!!

We figured it out the other day and it was around 6000 including the price of the qaud.The qaud was 2500.


86 trx250r wiseco .020 piston,boyesen reeds,FMF gold series fatty pipe,power core silencer,DG alloy series nerfs,porting by performance machine service,uni filter,motion pro clutch cable,motion pro twist throttle,PEP easy pull clutch perch and lever,JD performance +2 A-arms,durablue eliminator 2+2 adjustable width axle,fastline braided steel brake lines,braking brake pads,durablue posi loc axle nut,18/11/8 holeshot mx's on mithcell .190 wheels,21/7/10 holeshots on ITP wide off-set .190 wheels,white bro's white power shocks with res's all the way around.

The TC 405 ex has close to $8000 invested not including time. the LT500 has over 10k invested. I have a long list of receipts. Just wanted to know you guys have all this money invested in your bikes do you have them insured and if so what do u pay a year and what coverage and deductable

No insurance here.The only qaud we have insured is our 300ex.The deductable is $300.GOod thing we do have insurance because I totaled it and did 2200 in damage.IT was about 2 weeks old when this happened.

The sad thing is.I would rather have a 400ex than my 250r.

90 blaster

My friends have identical highly modified 2000 400ex's. They have over 11,000 in them already and are getting ready to buy full laegers chassis yow! Oh well, it's an expensive hobby.

I bought aatc 185 for $50 bucks and put new oil in it so about and i tire plug so about $55.37
