How much horse power does a stock 2000 banshee put out?

I know a scrambler puts out 36 ponies but i was wondering if the banshee crushed that just because of the twin cylinder.

 

They put out around 38 horses.

That is a restricted 38 ponies also. Many Banshees never reach their horsepower potential. Just with a few mods you can easily have it up to around 60 horsepower easily!

Alba has many different set ups to get your banshee up to speed. Start off with a good set of pipes and silencers. Preferably Toomey pipes. Change the reed valves. Cool Head is another great mod which wakes up the banshee. Always, the first thing you to your banshee is change the airfilter setup and go with a K&N filter. If this still isn't enough power there several different engine kits such as the 470 long rod kit which rips!

 

Go with Vito's Power Piston as well, it's said to make an additional 6 - 8 hp. Make sure to change the reeds too.

 

And that will get me the 60 HP?

 

Get yourself some RZ cylinders that will bring you up to 60hp supposedly. Or a turbo which will get you to 130hp which I dont think is true because the banshee bottom end would probably snap in half with more than 90hp from stock. but of course you need $$$$ for these mods

HERE IS WHAT YOU TAKE YOUR CYLINDER OFF, AND SEND THEM TO PORT MAGIC IN CALIFORINA. FOR 400$ HE CAN PORT YOUR BANSHEE AND YOU WILL GET AROUND 68 TO 70 HP. THAT I WITH TOOMEY'S T5 AND 34 MM CARBS. I HAD MY BANSHEE PORTED FROM HIM AND IT IS WORTH EVERY PEENY.

 

Easily! You may want to have your head ported for additional power. The sky is the limit with this quad unlike a 4-stroke!
