why don't you little 450 boys run a raptor on the drag srtip to find out who is the fastest and stop running on dirt or sand and saying you aare the fastest. because a raptor has so much power that iti s hard to hook up. so match themup on some pavement and then talk. also don't run 100', run on out a ways 330' or so you well see.

The 450s can beat stock raptors just about everywhere. A stock raptor will lose to a stock banshee on pavement.

 

really? when I had my raptor (before the 450s) I never lost to any thing stock except a ds.

 

Well after switching riders on an 01 shee and 02 raptor we found that the banshee had the ability to put more power to the pavement without bringing the front end up as bad as the raptor. Despite different weights and riders with different riding styles, the banshee always seemed to edge out the raptor.

This is just my experience, and definately applies to pavement only. In gravel or sand on stock tires the banshee spins too much to get the jump.

 

raptors are too heavy, tall and narrow, "tipsy" their handling isnt great and on the drag strip a quadzilla or a banshee or even a ds 650 will put a craptor to shame. btw the yfz and 450R werent made to drag race, they were made to do what a quad was made to do... woods, mx, trails...ect

thats pretty bad when a 450 that wasnt made for drag racing can beat a 660
