some people think that becouse the preditor is a 500 it beats the 450s is that true

 

In top speed the pred wins, in short drags no.

And a lot of people think because the Raptor is a 660 that it beats the 500 Predator. Not always true. A lot of it comes downt to rider skill

 

Whats the preds top speed ?

 

72-74 mph. I know in 03' when like the very first preds came out I think they must of had some different type of gearing ratio or something because Doug did his stage 1 on one compared to the other 03's and now the 04's and in 4th gear with was going 78mph. It was kind of crazy.

 

actually all of there top speeds are about the same from my experience (with the yfz anyway) i raced a yfz that had the pea shooter out and got beat by a quad length. top speed is the same

 

it all does depends on the rider. couse a pro would smoke an ameture on those bikes. but i think for the bikes them selves that just becouse the preditor has 500ccs it does not make it faster
