Default whats wrong??????

I bought a 00 lakota last week that has been running great until a few days ago. When i let it sit for a few hours and start riding it again, the clutch wants to slip(I think its the clutch????). It seems ok at low speed but after half thorottle the engine will rev and the quad will still be going the same speed (its like driving on pavement then hitting a patch of ice). Once i drive it around for awile it goes away. Is this the clutch and what do i need to do to fix it?cost?

most likely its the clutch ,lakota's are bad for clutch slipping,we've had both of our lakotas with new clutches. If you put in a new clutch go with kg factory clutch kit with the springs, you can get it from your local dealer. You will see a ton of difference with the kg clutch.the plates and springs together cost around $40.
