Default Oregon Dunes were Great!!!

Just got back from 7 days at the Oregon Dunes. Stayed at Spinreel campground and rode a lot. I think we rode around 400 miles(according the the trail tech on the baja) . Weather was perfect, sunny and 70-75 every day. The wind picked up in the afternoon and made the dunes fresh for our daily evening and morning rides. Used up around 25 gallons in each DS and they ran perfect. Raced a little bit(i am not big into racing like most of you, i would rather be out ripping up the dunes) and beat a modded quadzilla on flat drags which i was suprised and so was the guy on the quadzilla. I bought a set of 22" hauler extreme 9 paddles which up there and they make a world of difference for drags but i like the V paddles for duning. We will be up there again next july for probably 10 days. Cant wait.

Sean

Sounds like fun How long did it take you to travel up there? Oregon is definately on the trip list.

You bet I will, I'm going to try and pressure the wife for a trip there this year. Kids want to go on a trip before school starts up again. Maybe

A group of us are heading up there this week for 7 days in the same area, leaving tomarrow. Hope the weather stays the same. It should be a awesome trip. Glad you guys had a great trip! Can't wait to try the new CT pipe on the baja-x.
