hey all u blaster owners, i have an 04 blaster and whenever i ride it hard for a wile , it leaks something onto the top of my muffler, it not from the engine, doubt its from the gas tank cuz it dont smell like it, so idk, i took a look from under and its way up high like by the handle bars. i think its coming from 1 of those cables, maby brake fluid? any help is greatly apriciated.

04 eh? They have hydro brake's now so it is very well possiable that it could be brake fluid. Are you having any trouble with your brakes not working? That could indicate that fluid is leaking somewhere. Check all the lines for leaks.

 

ya but my fron brakes are fine and so are the back ones , but they do squeak and the fluid does not smell like oil or gas and i really think thats wear its from, but how would the fluid leak from the line?

 

it could be a rip in the line.. How much is it leaking out?
Exactly where are you noticing it from? On the engine? are you sure its dripping onto it and not coming out from it?

 

It's the breather from the transmission, when you last filled you tranny did you add too much oil?

 

ya well 1 day wen it wouldnt start i opende the transmition oil cap and poured a whole bottle of oil in , is that it

 

can i still ride, when wiull it stop , did you have this problem?

 

so you just poured oil into it. it may now be too high. and it may have been too low before. i would check this because that can't be good.

 

i know but im saying that daputz said that its goming from the transmition breather and if its leaking from there eventualy it will just leak till its normal.
