Default Mod YFZ vs Mod Raptor

Between a YFZ450 with a K&N airfilter, HMF full system and jetted vs a Raptor with the same mods but with Full system Sparks X-6 wich one would have the most power and torque overall. Not looking at drag times just power.

Short run the YFZ will win, seen this first hand. In the long haul the Raptor will pull ahead.

Well, for power and torque... the Rappy.... The yfz is just a quicker accelerator because of it's shorter stroke, and it's rpm limit is like 2000 more... when you start modding out the rappy's engine, that's when you really start tapping into it's power and acceleration....

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

YFZ will win in the drag. They would be pretty close on hp but the yfz's weight would give it an advantage. The raptor will definately have more torque.

Less than 200 feet drag, the YFZ will win. More than that, advantage goes to the Raptor.

Most torque (power), Raptor.

yah definately, but its like we stated...once u go into the motor of the raptor...the beast really really wakes up. Raptors are REALLY Stout!

This is not to say the YFZ isnt the same but really i have not seen it been proven with one yet who knows!

If i read his post correctly he says which one would have more power. I would say the Raptor has more torque and power.

i would say motor work on each, the raptor will actually come out ahead only because of its displacement being 660cc's am i wrong here???

The rappy will have a higher torque peak, but the yfz's torque curve doesn't sign off at 8000 rpm like a piped raptor does. Between the yfz being able to able to rev quicker, pull gears longer, and its lighter weight, the raptor doesn't really stand much of a chance in a short race.

When did his topic change from power to faster? Did everyone see something I didn't? It's been said before, but it needs to be said again. When it comes to power, there is no replacement for displacement.
