Dynojet to Keihin compairason
#1
I just installed a dynojet kit. Neadles on 4th position but the mains didn't compare to the charts. There is two charts that I found on here, The Kawieriders and Nyrocs technical tips. By looking at the hole size, the dynojet is alot smaller than suppose to be. I installed a 138 and a 142 dynojet and it runs good. Could possibly use more gas still. I am at 1880 feet. The jets look almost the same size hole as the stock 138 and 142 keihin. I wonder if they are making them the same rating now. I installed the size just like the instructions said except went to 4th on the clip instead of 3rd like it said. Bike seems to run better.

Anybody have any comments or explanation for this? The 138 and 142 dynojet would be like a 152 and 155 keihin. I initially tried a 142 keihin stock jet and aftermarket 145 but run terrible. Come to find out that the 145 aftermarket jet had a bigger hole than any of them I have used so far.

Tanks for the replys. If dynojet is still using the same sizings that would mean I am running a comparable 152 and 155 main jet. By eyeballing these jets, they look almost the same size as stock 138, 142 in the center hole. The bike seemed to pick up 1 mph and run a little better on bottom. Wasn't sure to go with the 4th or 3rd position.
